Ministry History

The Founder & Senior Pastor of ACTS Foundation, Rev. Vinay Dube, an MBA graduate, was working in a multinational company as a manager when he received a vision in 1998 to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. He started ministering with only 12 people. He is totally committed to bringing the Good News with the goal of changing the world “ONE PERSON AT A TIME”.

The ministry is based on ACTS 1:8 — “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

By God’s amazing Grace and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, 19 various ministries have grown under ACTS Foundation.

Potter’s House Church

Rev. Vinay received a vision from God in Dec’ 2005 to build a SOUND PROOF CHURCH. As per God’s instruction he started the church construction with merely Rs 40,000/- in hand. The total budget was estimated at Rs. 30 Lacs. It was a testing time of faith in God’s provision. With one of his favorite phrases, “WHEN GOD WILL GIVE YOU A VISION, HE WILL ALSO MAKE A PROVISION,” the construction was completed in 5 months with the best sound-proof technology and a seating capacity of 250 — without any outside funds or donations. The church was named “Potter’s House Church”. Every Sunday around 150 people gather to worship the Lord.

Our Ministries

The following are among the 19 ministries that have grown under ACTS Foundation:

• Part-Time Bible College — ‘The Hidden Treasures’ are opened here as the Word of God is taught verse-by-verse in depth. In-house and correspondence courses are available. (Tuesdays 7:00–10:00 PM, Fridays 7:00–8:00 PM)
• Part-Time Bible School — especially for New Believers, where the books of the Bible are taught in general. (Fridays 8:00–9:00 PM)
• Blessing Meetings — held every Saturday at Potter’s House Church, where people receive God’s Power, healing and deliverance. (Saturdays 7:00–9:00 PM)
• Children’s Church — a place where children learn the Bible through stories, presentations and multimedia. (Sundays 10:30 AM)
• Youth Church — “Channelizing the power of Youth Energy to Serve the Lord.” (Saturdays 5:00–6:45 PM)
• Care-Cell Meetings — held across the city where people gather to hear the Word of God and be uplifted spiritually.
• Intercession Prayer — Prayer Warriors get together to pray for all the requests made by the people.
• Jubal Ministry — Rev. Vinay plays 15 different musical instruments and has acquired VISHARAD in the Indian classical instrument Tabla; young people are encouraged to learn instruments for the glory of God.
• Dorcas Ministry — helping the needy for their basic needs and celebrating ‘KILO DAY’ (Acts 9:36).
• Orphanage Ministries — spending quality time and sharing the Word of God with orphans and the elderly.
• Hospital Ministry — church members visit hospitals to share the Gospel and pray for the sick.
• Jethro Ministry (Counseling) — counseling families and individuals through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
• From the Heart of the Shepherd — powerful messages delivered through Audio, Video & Magazine ministries.
• Acts Designing Centre — in-house design, printing and web development for the ministry’s multimedia and publication work.
• Outreach Ministry & Crusades — spreading the Good News across Maharashtra and India since 2006.
• Vacation Bible Training Programme (VBTP) — an annual ten-day programme grouped by age (Benjamin, Samuel, Joseph, Moses).
• Fire Camp — an annual national event to “Reach the Unreached” and “Develop Leaders”.
